Tips to improve your connections in remote work

Software updates improve both your device' security and functionality. In addition, updates give you access to new features. Keeping your work phone and computer up to date ensures that your internet connection works as it should.

Elisa WiFi-puhelu (Wi-Fi call) is an additional service that is automatically activated in Elisa's corporate phone subscriptions. Wi-Fi call is useful when mobile network is not available, but you have access to WiFi. You can make or receive Wi-Fi calls any time and anywhere.

If you are unsure if Wi-Fi calls work on your phone, check your phone's WiFi and 4G call settings.

Resetting your phone's network settings can help if: 

• your phone signal is weak
• your phone's internet connection doesn't work
• connecting to Wi-Fi does not work
• you can't send or receive messages

Moving your router just a few meters can affect your wireless signal because the router location determines the nearest base station. To boost your Wi-Fi signal, we recommend that you try moving your router to another power socket or a different room.

Log in to OmaElisa for Companies, open your subscription's details, and check that your subscription is compatible with 4G and 5G networks. If it isn't, click Update subscription to upgrade to a new subscription type.
