Elisa is a Finnish pioneer in cyber security. We have produced managed information security services since 1995 (i.e. Managed Firewall Service). This has later lead to the launch of our cyber security monitoring services, or CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team), in 2004. Our cyber security center (also known as Security Operations Center, or SOC) was established in 2015.
With over 140 years of experience, high-quality incident management is in our genes. Now, we continuously monitor the digital business environments of several significant Finnish organizations.

1. Technologies for protection and incident detection
Our service includes all necessary technologies for collecting detection data and machine analysis. Some common technologies include:

- SIEM (Security Information and Event Management)

- behavior anomaly detection in your internal network (terminal devices, servers, network)
- Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)
- cloud security services and cloud detection and response (CDR) solutions (including Microsoft M365 security solutions)
- vulnerability scanning and management (for both on-premises and cloud environments)
We'll provide you with a comprehensive technology package as a managed service. We'll ensure that the package meets your needs, including maintenance and change management. Our service is not tied to a particular technology: we can take a technology-independent approach and integrate to your company's existing information security systems using our solutions, such as SOAR and SIEM.

Our cyber security center services give you 24/7 access to cyber security experts, who can help you in incident analysis, management, and disaster recovery planning. As a part of our service, we provide a comprehensive situational picture of your organization's cyber security using different approaches, such as extensive reporting. This data can be used to further develop your information management and business.
Our experts are Finnish citizens, security-checked by Finnish authorities. The Security Operations Center is located in Helsinki on Elisa's premises, where our cyber security personnel works 24 hours aday. The premises have been audited by authorities and have STIV-level safety.
3. Disaster recovery
Our service also guarantees that you have the right IT and network experts to implement corrective mechanisms and additional security measures.
Elisa has a unique capability to offer corrective mechanisms through outsourced IT services and our network operations center (NOC). In an environment with multiple service providers, we'll ensure you find the right channels for fluent cooperation with your organization's IT service providers.
